Scott Stewart has been in Worship Music Ministry for more than 20 years. Born and raised in Columbus , Georgia , Scott saw his giftings develop through his involvement at church. While attending Southeastern University in Lakeland , Florida , Scott had the opportunity to play piano/keyboards for worship leader Rusty Nelson (Integrity Music’s “Take This City”). In 1993 he graduated from Columbus State University with his Bachelors Degree in Music (Piano & Composition).
Scott & Sheree, his wife of 20 years, currently reside in Charlotte , NC where he is one of the worship leaders for The Refuge, a thriving church in the Charlotte area. Scott has had the opportunity to minister in churches across the nation. In addition to traveling throughout the United States , he has also ministered in many countries overseas.
Scott is the author of more than 50 songs of worship… many of which are being used in churches across the country today. He is a licensed publisher through CCLI (Christian Copyright Licensing International), and has recorded 4 worship CD’s: Passion For His Presence (1997), I Believe (1999), Lost In Your Presence (2005), and In The Stillness (2007). Most recently he was one of the worship leaders for the CD You Are My Hope, the worship release from The Refuge (2010).
